went for a wedding with dear ytd at novotel at clarke quay(:
it was the nicest wedding that i ever went for!
probly cos i dun really rmb ever gg to a hotel for wedding dinner before><
only proms.. haha
the decor was pretty, got romantic feel(:
though the candle holders on the table were obviously from the hotel, the paint having peeled off alr><
hahah but all in all the feel was grand and luxurious, with free flow wine, beer, soft drinks and chinese tea(:
whahaha gta talk abt the food!
the first dish will usually come with some sort of performance by the waiters and waitresses, and for this dinner, it was cute!
the waiters and waitresses come out in pairs, with the guy holding the plate and the girl holding a lighted-up red plastic rose, and a veil over her head!

food included: platter of roast pig, wuxiang, jelly fish, spring roll and chicken,
shark's fin soup (yum!)
roast chicken with the mai4 pian4 xia1's mai pian(:
steamed red grouper (xDD)
stewed broccoli with mushrooms
he2 ye4 fan4, lotus leaf glutinous rice
and yam paste(:
i think that's it.. hahah ate till super full cos our table was supposed to have 10 pple, but at any one time, max no of pple was only 7><

haha not surprisingly, the guys engaged in army talk, but i sort of enjoyed it cos part of it can be really funny!xD
then (cos the other guys' wives were not there), they started giving dear and i relationship advice O.o
which was definitely interesting and some logical, but one i particularly dislike><
for that one, dear's orginal idea was that
before marriage, girl-guy ratio: 50-50 chance of winning an argument,
after engagement: 75-25
after marriage: 100-0
which when i first heard i was like O.o serious?? you rly think tt way? xDD
BUT hahah
one of his friends started telling him the order is totally opp)):
LOL obviously he's joking,
tt's why we just laughed it off, and for the rest, take it with a pinch of salt(:
haha another advice: enjoy it while i still can! xP
